Refund Policy

This policy applies to paid guided sessions booked with SynapRoute Base. Free library content on this site is not subject to refunds.

Deposit and confirmation

A 30% deposit confirms your session date once agreed by email. The remaining balance is due before the session begins (in-person) or within 24 hours of a remote session (invoice link by email).

Full refund eligibility

  • You cancel at least 72 hours before the scheduled start time.
  • We cancel the session for any reason.
  • You cancel within 48 hours of paying the deposit if the session is more than seven days away.

Partial refund eligibility

  • Cancellation between 72 and 24 hours before start: deposit retained, balance refunded if already paid.
  • If we have begun preparation (reviewing submitted metadata files) and you cancel within 72 hours, we refund the balance minus ₩40,000 preparation fee.

Non-refundable items

  • Cancellations less than 24 hours before start time.
  • No-shows without prior notice.
  • Printed materials already produced and shipped at your request.
  • Completed sessions — if the session occurred as scheduled, the fee is non-refundable regardless of subjective satisfaction.

Rescheduling

One free reschedule is allowed if requested at least 48 hours ahead and a new date is agreed within 30 days. Additional reschedules incur a ₩25,000 administrative fee.

Work already started

If you submit files for metadata review and cancel after we deliver a written pre-session checklist, the preparation fee above applies even if the live session has not occurred.

Refund process and timing

Email hello@synaproutebase.click with your booking reference. Approved refunds are processed within 10 business days to the original payment method (bank transfer for domestic clients, Wise or PayPal for international where used).

Exceptions

If technical failure on our side prevents a remote session from starting, we offer a full refund or priority rescheduling at your choice. Internet issues on the client side are handled under the standard cancellation windows.
